Beyond the Pink Ribbon: Prevention and Awareness for Breast Cancer
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, EuroCham Singapore, in partnership with the Irish Chamber, will host a special event aimed at fostering dialogue on the importance of breast cancer awareness, early detection, and the impact of this illness on both personal and professional life. This event will bring together a diverse panel of speakers, including the Ambassador of Ireland to Singapore, a breast cancer survivor who will share her personal journey and insights.
We will also have a Managing Director from a multinational corporation, the General Manager of the Breast Cancer Foundation (non-profit organisation) and a distinguished surgeon specialising in breast cancer treatment.
The event will explore key themes, such as the profound effect of breast cancer on well-being, its influence in the workplace, and the critical role of preventive care. Our panellists will discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by individuals and organisations alike in navigating this journey, as well as the importance of early detection and the role of the community in supporting those affected.
This event is an opportunity for attendees to gain a deeper understanding of the multifaceted impact of breast cancer, learn best practices for preventive care, and engage in meaningful discussions on how to build a more supportive and informed society.
